Potpourri

Some things I'd love to show you, no matter who you are.

The Drain

A poem I love:

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am the thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet bird in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

by Mary Elizabeth Frye

"We think too small. Like the frog at the bottom of the well. He thinks the sky is only as big as the top of the well. If he surfaced, he would have an entirely different view."

"Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who could not hear the music."

"From my rotting body, flowers shall grow and I am in them and that is eternity."

"There is a garden in every childhood, an enchanted place where colors are brighter, the air softer, and the morning more fragrant than ever again."

"It is never too late to have a happy childhood."

Go out and find your own definition....or not. That's the beauty of it.
